Trump election shocks the mortgage interest rate market, and Nevada legalizes pot.

With elections a day away, rates are going to be influenced by economic data now, up until the Federal Reserve makes their announcement on December 14th.  Which we expect a minmum .50% increase in the Fed Funds rate.  Mortgage rates are trending up, and should continue to rise.

Mortgage rates sank a little last week, as the Federal Reserve surprised everyone by NOT raising rates. We has had Germany go negative on their rates. Both caused the US Bond to be purchased, thus lowering our mortgage rates.

Mortgage rates in Idaho are down just a tick last week, but this week we have started off even lower, We will probably stay pretty close to where we are for about 2-3 weeks, in anticipation of Federal Reserve meeting towards the 3rd week of the month.
