Contrary to what you may have seen, the FED cutting 50 basis points doesn’t mean mortgage rates have dropped 📉. In fact, rates worsened today 📈, and I’ll explain why!

💡 Here’s the deal: Mortgage rates are tied to bonds, not the FED funds rate. Stocks and bonds always price in news ahead of time 📊. So while some were expecting improvements, the market had already "baked in" the rate cut 🍞, causing rates to rise today.
